Recently our buddy’s Boxer/Beagle mix was headed to a puppy sleepover for a weekend retreat. Puppy sleepovers sound like an awesome idea, but with three hyper personalities and doggies with separation anxiety we needed some additional support.

Typically all three dogs at this residence are rambunctious and high-energy so we knew it would be a handful to have all three dogs hyped up and rowdy in this 900sq foot home.

Creating a DIY Pet Treat with CBD

After much research and testing in the kitchen – we’ve found the primo recipe for an easy-to-make homemade pet treat with CBD.
Naturally Calming Homemade Pet Treat Recipe:
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup all-natural peanut butter
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup Elan Naturals Pet Friendly CBD
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients into a bowl. Use as much CBD oil as you see fit. Getting your pups accustomed to the oil before introducing them to the treats may be beneficial. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spoon the mixture onto a baking sheet. Cook in oven for 25 minutes or until crisped. Feed in moderation to dogs as special treats when you’ll be away for hours at a time or if your pup doesn’t behave when guests are around!
