How does CBD work?
CBD binds to the CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors of the body’s endocannabinoid system. CB1 receptors are present predominantly in the central nervous system, lungs, vascular system, muscles, and gastrointestinal tract. CB2 receptors are found in the bones, skin, and spleen. Both CB1 and CB2 receptors are found in bone marrow, the liver, and the immune system.
